Uncertain recovery
Backups may be running, but no one has confirmed they can actually be restored. The first test comes on the day you need the data back, which is the worst possible time to discover a problem.
Protected copies of what the business cannot afford to lose, with a recovery route that has been tested before you need it. We manage the full cycle: configuration, monitoring and restore, across endpoints and Microsoft 365.
Business Challenges
Backup failures rarely announce themselves. The gap between what leadership assumes is protected and what is actually recoverable is where the real risk sits.

A backup job that fails silently on Monday looks identical to one that succeeded. Without daily monitoring, weeks can pass before anyone notices the gap, and by then the retention window has closed.
A deleted mailbox, an overwritten file, a misconfigured policy. Most data loss is not dramatic. It is an ordinary action by an ordinary person, and it is only recoverable if a backup was there to catch it.
Our Approach
We own the full lifecycle: configure backup policies, monitor every job, and execute restores when needed. You know what is protected, how recently, and what it would take to get it back.
Service Inclusions
Six managed services covering endpoints and Microsoft 365. Each follows the same discipline: configure, monitor, restore.
In practice
Backup policies, schedules, retention rules and storage destinations are configured per device class. Encryption is applied where supported, and every initial backup is verified before the device is considered protected.
In practice
Scheduled backup operations are monitored for completion status. Failures are identified, documented and remediated using standard procedures so no device silently falls out of protection.
In practice
Restore requests are received, validated for scope and authorization, and executed from verified backup sets in accordance with defined recovery policies and agreed expectations.
In practice
Tenant-level backup settings cover Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams and Entra ID. Retention policies and schedules are configured per workload, and each initial backup is verified before the service is marked active.
In practice
M365 backup jobs are monitored for successful execution across all protected workloads. Failures are identified, documented and remediated so organizational data protection remains consistent.
In practice
Approved restore requests recover Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online and Teams data. Scope and authorization are verified before execution, and restores run from independently held backup sets.
Business Outcomes
Verified recoverability
You know that backups are completing because someone is checking them, not because you are assuming they are.
Faster, calmer restores
When data needs to come back, there is a defined process and a tested route rather than a scramble to find out what was backed up and when.
Clear retention policies
What is kept, for how long, and where it is stored are documented decisions rather than default settings no one reviewed.
Continuous oversight
Backup jobs are monitored daily. Failures are identified, documented and remediated rather than left to accumulate silently.
Frequently Asked Questions
If yours is not here, it is usually the most useful one to ask.
Ask us yoursMicrosoft 365 includes built-in retention and recovery features, but these do not replace a dedicated backup service. A separate backup gives your business independent recovery points, greater control over retention, and a clearer path to restore data following accidental deletion, overwrite, or other data-loss events.
Restore times depend on the amount of data, the type of restore, and the service involved. Smaller restores may complete relatively quickly, while larger mailboxes, endpoints, or full recovery jobs can take longer.
No. This service covers backup configuration, monitoring, and restore execution. Disaster recovery and business continuity planning are separate disciplines and are not included. Backup and restore provide an important foundation for recovery when data is lost or unavailable.
Failed backups are identified through daily monitoring, documented, and remediated where possible. If a failure requires action from your side, we will tell you what is needed and why, rather than leaving it as an unread alert.
Monitoring may continue outside business hours. Any alerts or support requests received during that time are reviewed and handled during the next business hours.
It depends on your requirements. Some services may be delivered individually, while others may need to be combined with related services. We’ll assess your needs and recommend the most suitable approach for your business.
